I was very ready to get my little girl out of the highchair and into a booster seat. I am extremely happy with the Safety 1st booster seat. It is so easy to put my daughter in and out of. It’s really easy to clean and doesn’t have a ton of nooks and crannies like the highchair does.
The booster seat securely straps around the underside of the chair, as well as around the back. The installation and set-up process was super fast and easy. All of the components simply snap together. The booster seat is snugly secured to the chair once the straps are tightened.
I had to put a cloth place mat down under the booster seat in case of spills. My daughter has a habit of throwing her food off of her tray when she is finished eating. Our dog, Laila, just always happens to be there to quickly snatch it up.
The tray is my favorite part of the Safety 1st booster seat. The tray easy snaps on and off. It’s extremely easy to clean and fits in out sink very well. I love that it is not too large so the food is always right in front of my daughter. I love that the tray has a square and round cup holder all-in-one. My daughter loves putting her cups in cup holders (to feel like a big girl). The cup holder is the perfect depth. It’s not so deep that you can’t get crumbs out of and it’s just deep enough to hold the cups and juice boxes securely. The tray can also be adjusted to 3 different sizes. The very best part about the tray is that it is DISHWASHER SAFE!! Sometimes you just need to give it a good wash!
I also love that this booster is small enough to travel with. You can simply fold the back rest down, snap the tray on backwards and carry it like a purse by the straps. It’s extremely light, but not flimsy.
Notice the green layer on the bottom of the booster seat? Those can be folded in to lower the seat. This is a great feature!
The 3-point harness straps are great. It is really easy to get your child in and out of.
I recommend this booster seat to any child ready to move on to a “big girl/boy” seat and to any parent ready to make meal time easier! I would not change anything about the Safety 1st Booster seat. I am completely happy with it.
