Parents – I’m totally freaking out about back-to-school time. My baby is going into Kindergarten this year and it’s a whole different ball game than pre-school. Naturally, I couldn’t help but turn to my Pinterest page for back-to-school ideas like outfits, gifts for teachers and gifts for my daughter to get her excited for what might seem like a scary experience. I’ve been backpack hunting, lunch box searching, outfit shopping and organizing like a madwoman.
I function best when I put things down on paper (er, blog), so I’m doing a little round-up of some of my findings for back-to-school prep – Kindergartener style.
Back-to-School Gift Idea
My daughter is a little nervous for Kindergarten. Even though she will be with all of her friends from preschool, it’s a new campus, new playground and new teacher. I’ve been working on putting together a cute back-to-school gift basket for her to help get her excited. Check it out:

Contents:
Caboodles On-The-Go Container
Whiffer Sniffers Clip-On Backpack Accessory
WAFF Notebook and Letterers/Emoji Cubes
$50 OshKosh/Carters Gift Card for a “Shopping Spree”
Welch’s Fruit Snacks
RETHINK Water
IPS Chips
My Little Pony Friendship is Magic: Friends and Family DVD
Littlest PetShop: Making Friends DVD
Viki’s Granola Snack Packs
Gaea Olive Snack Packs (because my daughter absolutely loves black olives)
I feel like by giving her this little gift pack, letting her pick out some clothes and letting her choose her backpack will get her excited for Kindergarten. Let’s hope it works!
Backpacks and Lunch Bags
School Supplies
Kindergarten Wardrobe
