Back in May I received an email from a man named Leon Logothetis. He explained that he was on a mission to create a kinder world. He then went on to tell me that he has recently circumnavigated the world in search of kindness and human connection.
I was intrigued.
Leon took his yellow motorbike from L.A., across the US and the Atlantic, relying on other people to give him fuel for his bike, food and places to sleep.
Amazing right?
People were so kind and friendly to Leon. He returned from his trip more in touch with humanity than ever and realized how important it is for humans to connect with each other.
I couldn’t agree more with that last statement. My family travels quite often and we get to meet some pretty amazing people. It’s been life changing to be able to connect with people of different cultures, to learn how they live and what’s normal for them.
Leon was so inspired by his trip around the world that he wrote a book, The Kindness Diaries.
You’re probably thinking, “why would I want to read a book about a man having people do nice things for him?” But in Leon’s book, you’ll read about how he actually helps others along his journey.
This is a great read and sort of reminds me of ‘Undercover Boss’ meets ‘Extreme Home Makeover.’ – The NapTime Reviewer
