Tribes – A – Dozen
My experience at bread baking has been poor, to say the least. I have used all kinds of recipes, from Betty Crocker to Food Network, with the bread never seeming to rise and look appetizing. I have thought about investing in a bread machine, but definitely do not have the counter space or cupboard space for one.
I recently received some yummy samples from a great company called Tribes-A-Dozen who carry a line of egg bread mixes that are all natural, kosher and easy to prepare with the simple instructions on the back of the box! They carry 3 varieties – Voila! Hallah Traditional, Wholey Wheat and Simply Spelt. And, while they would be great for traditional Jewish holiday meals, they are made to be enjoyed with any meal, from a typical Sunday dinner to an Easter celebration!
If you are not great with using yeast, you will love the Tribes-A-Dozen bread mixes. The instructions are so easy to follow. In less than 2 hours you can have fresh baked bread or rolls and a kitchen that smells heavenly! The only ingredients you need from your own cupboard are vegetable oil, flour for your cutting board and 1 large egg (sesame or poppy seeds are optional). As you can see above, I opted to make dinner rolls with the traditional mix. I do not have a mixer with stand so I had to hand knead the dough for quite awhile. I think my rolls would have been a bit fluffier with the correct mixer and hook, but the taste was still great!
With these Tribes-A-Dozen mixes, anyone can become a bread baker, even me! Find out where you can buy Tribes-A-Dozen mixes near you, or how to order online, at www.tribesadozen.com.

I love making bread….sometimes I use my bread machines, sometimes use quick mixes, and make it from scratch by hand…..love making All sorts of breads and these sound and look great and we would love to try them. I usually make some type of bread 2-3 times a week….. My favorite to make is just a basic sourdough bread but my family absolutely loves the garlic herbs and cheese bread I make! Out of the mixes above, the traditional one is the one I'm most interested in making, thanks for the chance to win
